Qixuan (Kyla) Zhang
Qixuan (Kyla) Zhang is a Master of Management Studies candidate at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, where she also serves as a Duke Innovation & Entrepreneurship Ambassador. She holds a bachelor's degree in Media and Arts (Creative Practice) from Duke Kunshan University.
She is the co-founder of WeModel and a founding member of the AI Film Festival (AIFF), where she leads global university network expansion and guest relations, connecting institutions such as Harvard, Oxford, and Tsinghua. Passionate about AI's impact on the creative industries, she explores its applications in content creation and digital media.
Her professional experience includes an internship at former YC China, where she assisted with startup selection, fundraising coordination, and market strategy optimization. She also served as a ByteDance Campus Ambassador and worked as a casting director for Tencent Video's top-tier S+ programs.
Beyond business and media, she is deeply engaged in content creation as a Red Note KOL and an AI Tamer WeChat blog contributor, focusing on entrepreneurship, technology, and personal growth. She is dedicated to fostering collaboration among entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders.
Her volunteer experiences include supporting the 2025 J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference. Moreover, she also served as an assistant to the Slovak Ambassador to China, and coordinating international speaker engagements and translation efforts. Additionally, she has participated in animal rescue initiatives for stray cats and dogs.
Currently, she is particularly interested in AI-driven smart services, user experience optimization, embodied robotics, and film & television arts. She is an avid enthusiast of ultimate frisbee, street dance, travel, basketball, and reading, always eager to embrace challenges and explore new frontiers.
